Shame on me for seeing this and not properly looking.
I have properly studied the pictures and I am impressed.

There is a great cohesiveness about it all.
The base are excellent and tie it all together with a great campaign look.
The choice of various manufacturers works seamlessly and it all gels as one complete bespoke bad ass force.

It is very impressive work and would be a joy to see and or play with.... ;)

Hey you guys a heart felt thank you for your wonderful comments about this army. Many hours of work have gone into this force and i still have more to add. It's you guys that keep me motivated to get things done.

I think the overall cohesiveness that has been commented on is really down to the small colour palette and the bases which tie all the diverse models together. One of the reasons i base vehicles.

Holy s**t 13th of november since my last post here. Very poor showing but i have not been idle with plenty of paint being thrown around. I did start work on a few FW lightning's for my DKofK army before the holiday period but got a little side tracked by my newest army project, more on this next time.

Anyway i thought i'd post pics of this lovely little piece i got from GCM of a gothic church. I acquired it for my historical collection but it seems that with the addition of a few imperial eagles it would make a great town church or city chapel for epic. It is made from a sturdy card but the flying buttresses and the internal framework are still quite delicate.

So the pictures.

Hey next up we have the start of my Horus Heresy 30k forces. Inspired by Forge Worlds heresy books namely Betrayal and Massacre, i decided to return to epic's roots and do armies for the Isstvan system campaign period.

I jumped in at the deep end and started with a titan battlegroup. I painted all these at the same time which is why i have not updated this thread properly for ages. In order to speed things up and get them done i decided to ignore much of the heraldry/markings from FW's picture spread and keep it simple. I can always add more detail later. These are not completely finished just yet as they need some weathering and the colours for the urban ruins bases have not been decided on yet hence just a plain grey finish for now.

Not the best pictures due to poor light so they are a bit dark, tried the flash but it just washed out the look.

So without further preamble we have:

War Maniple Ferrum Mori Legio Mortis (Deaths Heads) deployed to the traitors cause Isstvan III
