A bit more WIP. Still need to work on some shoulders and the jump packs. Maybe a few more bits on the weapons, and there's still a head or two I'm not completely happy with.

Thanks. Here's a comparison shot next to some CSMs and Berzerkers.

Come to think of it, actually both the basic CSM and the Berzerkers have quite skull-like (well with a pair of earmuffs) faces. And so does Noise Marines and the standard bearer.

The newest EW stuff landed on my desk today: Production models ready for a coat of paint.

Here's the Mk2 Valkyrie along with the Mk1 in the background for comparison

And the enforcer variants with the Mk1 on the far right. The miscoloration on the metal is because these are early casts from fresh moulds.

Glad you like them. The new model is definitely an improvement over the old one in terms of detail (though it may not show very well in these pics).
The shrinkage during bronzing and mould making is a bit weird though: I'm not completely sure I'll ever quite understand the dynamics: The hull is about 1 mm shorter in therms of length and width than the resin prototype. This was expected as the same thing happened with the MBT. Yet the height is the same, and the socket for the drivers cabin even seem to have expanded slightly. Also the main gun was enlarged a bit to account for shrinkage, yet that seems to have remained the same size even though the turret itself is ever so slightly smaller. Everything still fits together nicely, but it just seems a bit weird. Hopefully it won't cause any problems when we start making even bigger stuff.

Wow! Who did the sculpting on those? He must have a really hot girlfriend!

But seriously folks, how did you come to have those? Did Tom leave instructions with the casters to ship you samples?

I suspect something like that. Although: I also recieved a seperate package today with the remaining APC turrets for the MBT hull, which Tom send before Christmas, so it could just be the postal service catching up after the havoc caused by the snow.

You should consider resin for larger pieces...
