Humm, i think that i use a false friend here, sorry for my english, i going to link you an article to see how is done:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVoGPfVrESU

He uses 3 different techniques here, first one is a general wash with oils to pump out the surfaces of the model. Second one, a located wash in the more deep recesses, and finally the filter, a very soft filter in this video, i use a more "agressive" colour to do it.

I can do a tutorial, but my painting techniques are a bit unusual. For example, in this necrons i use tamiya X-19 smoke as a wash to make the chrome effect in the bodys. For the vehicles im planning use alclad II chrome airbrushed. Maybe if you ask for a certain technique or figure, i can do a tutorial.

Thanks for your words! Are a big push for me. Today, i post the related necrons (3 phalanx with pariahs) and a formation of defilers from forumware painted as black legion (i have another 4 that going to be painted as khorne machines).

Nice work; really love the defilers.

Are they products of the long extinct Otter?

Those warhounds are stunning (as is everything else, i just happen to be staring at 2 unpainted FW warhounds on my hobby table and these have given me nerves/inspiration in equal measure ! :) )

Has anyone else found the oop status has now meant painting models feels like a major commitment ! :D
