LOL Not enuff rivitz eh, Krooza?
I was wondering how you did the bone effect? can you give me a step by step, as I've got a couple to do. Though they are going to be Iyanden Yellow, I'm sure similar techniques will work.

I started with a white undercoat which was washed with thinned down Snakebite leather for a basic warm brown. Then i added another, thinner, wash of Snakebite leather and chaos black. Once completely dry I then touched up all larger areas with bleached bone or various mixes of Snakebite leather and white and used almost pure white for the top highlights. Not the easiest way to do it I guess but eldar stuff just looks better with the bit extra effort put into it.

I've got a mix of Yellow ink, hardcoat & bubonic Brown with one drop of orange and one drop of chestnut ink in... I Spray white... put a coat of this mix on to it watered down a tiny bit... and then a very watered down chestnut ink....
I will have to mix up pot of a lightened shade, though this might be hard to get right, to do the highlights with... THX for the response..

A couple more marine conversions

I'm not too sure about the Missile launcher. At first I kindda liked the blast shield but on the other hand it might be too big. I also did a few more modifications to the Assault Marine sergeant's power axe by making a few cuts for the saw blade. For the assault marines I think the conversions will mainly be repositioning of the arms as these are fairly easy to do.
Also a package arrived today and I've begun on a project which for now will only be referred to as "Project X". It will be cool. Trust me

I usually mix the highlight shades as I go. I suppose pre-mixing larger quantities are easier - especially if you are doing many models but I guess I've never been bright enough to realize that

More pics of various Marine conversions. I've tried to build an Assault Marine with a Meltagun-ish weapon...
