Well, I have quite a bit of tidying up to do too... High Command is not too concerned, but it's just that there isn't room to actually work on my workbench any more. ;D

I painted up some boyz to go in my second Landa. Turns out they were Evil Suns. And while the Goff boyz were out cruising in their Battlewagons, the Evil Suns stole their Landa and gave it a new "kustom Paint job"

I also painted up two spedstas, one is going to be a gunwagon with a wierdboy. I have no idea what the other one should represent gamewise. But I really like the model. Anyone have any brilliant ideas of what it should represent?

Since I painted the last batch of Boyz that turned out to be Evil Suns. Me and my Orks have been feeling "da need fer speed".

And for that I need Trukks lots of Trukks. I have a few Flakwagons that could do as trukks. But I could really need a lot more. So does anyone have any suggestions to a good source of Trukks?

I an not to keen on the idea of using Buggies without guns as Trukks they just look to weedy.

I have been playing around with making Trukks. As Speed Freaks need LOTS!

And I made these, one from a Flakkwagon and one from a Buggy.

They are quite different sizes but I think that will be ok when I field a whole mob of different ones. It will all ad to the custom/ramshackle look I think.

What do you think?

On a nother note does anyone have any experience in playing Speed Freaks - what works and what doesn't?

Yeah, that works! It’s because of the bed you gave it… definitely worth the effort. The little bit of extra length is key.

Hi!

great Trukks! :)

a good way to get some (relatively) cheap trukks (apart from ebay of course) are the FW Orc Flakwagons. 7.20.- for 3 is quite ok I think, and on top of it you get the 3 Flakks

cheers,

I can feel my resistance crumbling. I may have to rekindle my Orks for a chance at those Trukks. Now where's that Freeks list...

I am a happy camper. These are really top-shelf. Very nice cast, sharp edges and minimal moldlines. These have my stamp of approval.

The first Speed Freak Warband has left the Mekshop.
They are not completely done yet. They still need teeth, bases and som cleanup work here and there. But it is so hard to get them to sit still for longer periods of time...
They are joined by a Mekboy Bad Ork Bikeboy. Here is a prepaint pic. of him:
