Repairs complete. Diagnosis: power supply. Minimal cost. No data loss.

If I'm not mistaken, and Otter, if you would confirm or deny, those are designed to fit in to the holes in Epic bases. Thus, they are 1/4" in diameter.

Correct, meant to plug into the base holes.

Thanks to Dave, they now have their operational name: hover roombas.

That's great!

DO you think that's what they actually do? I can just see tham bouncing off the walls of a tomb complex before going back to their Tomb Spyder 'recharger' to dump their load of sand, dust, unfortunate victims, etc...

You know, I've been meaning to get one of those. Better ask Tom for a raise though as they're a tad expensive...but well worth it: I absolutely loathe house cleaning!

Pussies. They should put guns on them. (JK, of course)

That's "if I win Lottery" project no. 413:

1. Purchase 1/16-scale motorized, remote-control Tiger and T34/85 models.
2. Mount wireless cameras and .22-caliber short barrels in place of model guns.
3. Take out to desert for some unique wargaming fun.

No vacuuming required.

New to do item: figure out how to deal with the new tax forms necessary for Otterware. Seems that since I have made more than $1 of profit, I have to barf out mucho paperwork.

Woohoo! Profit!

I am reminded of an incident when I started my profession in '91. Some older guy was complaining about how taxes got "so much higher" around the $100,000 realm. My thought at the time was "I should be so lucky as to complain about taxes on my huge salary."

I like the hovering Roombas.  Very nice.  I do think that since you are at it a big pile of hovering Roombas all climbing over each other in a swarm like appearance would look especially awesome.

We actually own a Roomba and a Scooba.  Wonderful machines (especially the Scooba) but the batteries seem to fail which is quite annoying since they run $40 a pop.  But I digress.
