An other idea: The Mega Dread from FW would make an escellent stand-in for Stompas :)

taht looks to be nearly 15cm tall!

it's also £34 with the arms costing as much again...
tempted. so very tempted.

Well, yes, but then again how tall / expensive was the Warhound? Fair bit more...

Personally I like the mega-dread but think the super-stompa is a poor design (I like the rest of the new GW and FW ork range).

The mega-dred is pretty meh as a 40K model, but would be neat as it's own model in 6mm.

I always thought the Mark Gibbons concept Stompa, which was brought to life by Ein, is still the best looking *new* Stompa.  It's probably what a FW Stompa would have looked like instead of the GW flowerpot with AT-AT feet.

There are so many better models that have been done... but back to the matter in hand. I still think no matter what a stompa should be able to "Stomp" so whatever ya do make it with feet. :;):
