I've got some of those scratch-built Defilers.

How are they made (the defiliers).

I made them out of atoms.

Hey, I've heard about atoms. Are they easy to work with?

Very easy. You just got to be careful that you dont use too sharp of knife. Dont want to accidentally split any!

Cool. I'll try it out. I think I got some atoms lying around somewhere.

But what do you use for Epic scale Atoms???

Since they're Epic scale (6mm), I try to limit myself to atoms with an atomic number of 6 or less.

Ahh that's simple then, you just divide all atoms' size by five, so items that are made out of Manganese (25) at 40k scale are made out of Boron (5) at Epic scale!!!

So simple!

Except of course that atomic number is not the same as atomic weight, and certainly not the size of the atom. If you were talking soley about nuclei with no electrons or even neutrons then yes, a fifth of the atomic number would be "epic scale", albeit incredibly unstable in most cases.

Oh, you weren't all being serious? My bad.

Quiet foolish Zombiecom!

You only use Atomic Number in Epic, not Atomic Weight!

Don't you know anything???

It takes a bit of skill to handle though. Once I wanted to convert hydrogen but accidentally cut off too much and ended up with anti-matter all over my workbench. Took all afternoon to clean up and it was really disheartening to have half of your workbench being sucked into a black hole like that.

I recommend buying one of these:

It makes converting Atoms very easy.

Aye. At least we're not at the level of discussing white poo and Feral Ork Stripper cakes just yet. :;):
