Since I am doing this for my up and coming Campaign involving a Slaanesh Force I am trying to paint on time I wanted to include this here.

Here is a taster of my first Cultist Force. I want to paint them all a generic colour in order to be able to include them in any Chaos force no mater who they follow.

I would like to know if you think the skin tone is ok or is it too purple? Please also if anyone has any suggestions or better yet some photo's of their own Cultists I would be very happy if you would post them or the links here as I am in need of the ideas and inspiration, thank you.

The skin looks great on your Cultists. The highlight has enough white in it to keep the purple subdued and they look more "natural" if that's possible for little depraved purple guys.

Thanks on the Cultists + Mr Pinchy comments guys I guess the purple wash is the way to go then. These dudes will be my Fanatics in the Cultist Horde while I'll paint up some old Cadian style or the new long coat wearing IG for my true Cultist PDF traitors.

I really like the cultists' skin that color. If I were to paint them I'd do them in something like that too. It looks very unnatural. You may not have been meaning to make them look like they worship a particular deity, but I think Mr. Pinchy has had his claws on them.  

That's the first time I've ever seen Cultists up close and I'm really impressed by them. Wish i had some.

After L4's Hitty Hammer air assault Mr Pinchy will be out of action for a while but he's apparently doing fine and should make a full recovery.

Thanks for the comments. I had seen the skin tone idea on a 40K book somewhere. This was where I get almost all my painting ideas before I came here.
You can still get these Cultist guys from GW/SG but they do cost. I managed to trade for mine on this forum with some of the guys. It can be done. Besides Cultists can be anything. I was going to use beastmen and IG in the same stand for mine until I decided to use the Beastmen as Mutants instead.
