Right, I've finished the last tray of this box so here they are before it all gets packed away snd posted on Monday.



And here's a few details from the last batch.


Unfortunately the new forum setup has messed with my photos and changed the sizes... :rock:
Right... Onto the next box (full of planes, LandRaiders, Predators, Terminators etc)  :smile:

The Character and Obliterator conversions are pretty much done (just need some more GS to add to the other half of the obliterators.

As its been a tradition to distract myself with remote control cars when working on CALs armies I thought I would chuck up this picture from today.

A previous crash left some weird fitting on the inside of the wheel mount bent so the axle wasn't quite attached properly.



Check out the angle on the Wheel.



Luckilly this only involved a 50 cent plastic fitting that wasn't supported properly due to the bend joint.  Everythings bent back into shape and working perfectly now. :agree:

Waaaa...


I've always sort of wanted to make a battle wagon top for it so then it could go Waaaaarrrrghhhh.

But then I suspect whatever materials that I use to make a decent looking battle wagon would probably survive one decent jump at best.

Hope I can do them justice.

I have no doubt you will.  The army is looking amazing so far.

Sounds good Steve, I am away again from Wed, through to next Monday. I am really looking forward to seeing these guys up close and personal. And then unleash them on some unsuspecting armies in the local area.

Few questions:

- what is the reference of the ballast you use for the bases ?
- are the roads home made ? If no, where can we find/buy them ?

Thanks scream (and thanks for the Squat deal - much appreciated mate).

The ballast/talus comes from Woodland Scenics. I got my W.S. materials from a model train shop.

The road tiles are from CNC Terrain. They're really scaled for 25mm but they can be easily adapted to 6mm highways.
