Well, fresh from success at the GT (I didn't actually win any games, but was delighted to take away the Judges' Choice for Best Army), I have added this Phantom Titan to the army:

It's a forumware model and measures 13cm from the base to the top of the 'wings'. I replaced the shoulder armour with a couple of 3D-printed pieces as one of the originals was missing from the kit and replacing them would differentiate the model from the Warlock (which I have not yet painted).

I do now have some markers for Spirit Stones, but I only have five of them fully painted so far (I printed 15). Once the rest are done, I'll post a picture of those. The next actual units will probably be another Falcon troupe. In the meantime, though, I'm working on some BFG spaceships.

(Also, I noticed that previously I accidentally posted another photo of the same Falcon troupe rather than the Swooping Hawks, so I've fixed that now.)

Looks great, Axel. Are they easy to position at all? Or is a one pose kind of model?

In theory, they should be quite poseable. The feet, shins and thighs are separate pieces and the hips, waist, shoulders and neck are all ball-and socket joints.

However, if you wanted to put it together in a pose other than standing fairly straight upright, I suspect you'd have to do quite a bit of work in terms of pinning and filling gaps to make sure everything fitted together well and was stable and not prone to collapsing.

In this pose it's fairly stable with only glue holding it together, but I doubt that'd be the case otherwise.

I've been a bit quiet lately, but I have not been entirely inactive. I have been a bit more focussed on my BFG Eldar, but the Epic army has also received some love.

Last month I painted up a third troupe of Falcons:

Then this month I added two troupes of Night Spinners:

I've never been terribly keen on the current W40k Night Spinner model. The old Forge World model is better, but my favourite version was the old E40k model by Tim Adcock, so a few months back I decided to kitbash a model that reproduced that design but based on the current Falcon model with the same level of detail. I think they've come out quite well, although the joint between the web spinners and the turret is very fragile.

Finally I've done these Fire Prism troupes:

Next up will hopefully be a warhost of Striking Scorpions. Not sure after that.

I'm with you on the Night Spinner. Not a fan of the new one, and ended up converting mine like FW's. Tanks look great, and remind me that I need to make Fire Prism turrets.

Agreed. That Nightspinner version is leaps and bounds better than the others and your conversions are spot on.

Hmm. It's been a while, hasn't it?

However, I promised Striking Scorpions, and so here they are!

Next up will be Guardians. Hopefully before the end of the month!

Nice. The Exarchs are super recognizable in that color.

Thanks, everyone!

So, as promised, here's a Guardian Warhost, with assorted weapon platforms:

I think I have five Guardian warhosts in the old version of this army, but I will probably limit myself to just three this time in various different configurations. But before I do those, I plan to add a Warlock titan.

I seem to be settling into a rhythm of roughly formation a month, so at this rate I might be done with this refresh by the end of next year!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm still pleased with how well the colour scheme came out on this army.

Up next it's a Warlock Titan:

This is another forumware piece. It also means that I've now painted all of the new stuff that I originally planned to do for this army. It was originally just going to be the Titans, Engines of Vaul, Lynxes, Hornets, Warp Hunters and Fire Prisms. All of which are now done. But now most of the rest of the army has found itself added to the list as well, so there's quite a way to go before I can call it done.

Next thing I paint for this army will probably be another Guardian warhost, but I might do something else first. I do still have a Warplord waiting for me to finish painting it. Plus next month is Orktober...
