Hmm if the screen doesn't screw up the colours then your brown tone is exactly that what i'm looking for my Krieg tanks  :agree:

On my screen at least they're fairy close to the original. :) Again it is a fairly simple scheme. What I like about it is, that you can have a basic army painted up very quickly and then go back and add details such decals and company markings afterwards when you got time.

Speed painting tonight: Started of a squadron of Slaanesh Hell Striders. Need to get these done in a hurry: The last EW Tank variants need a paint job before Christmas too!  :oo:

I noted that the bases are pink, too. Do you use a pink spray for the undercoat, or is something else at work here?

Since I wanted these to be predominantly pink I went for a white undercoat. Then a coat of tentacle Pink, followed by a wash of thinned down Warlock Purple (my 15 old hexagonal pot I might add, but still going strong). Once that is dry, drybrush tentacle pink again followed by a drybrush of tentacle pink/white and finally pick off a few top highlights with a detail brush in pure white. Then it is simply a matter of adding the various details. To get a bit sharper contrast I was generous when applying the black wash to the metal areas, allowing it to flow into various joints between armor plates for a blacklining-esque finish.
I'm learning as I go when painting these Slaanesh models, but I find that strong contrasts between very dark (including metals) and the soft pastel colors work pretty well for me.

Funny, never thought I would be alarmed at seeing something painted pink on the table top battle zone.  Guess I can't say that anymore.

BTW, the paint job... :sign1:

Tinkering with some Otterware. Here's a WIP of some lovely cheese. I still need to add some decals and weathering. Gotta say these models have been a real pleasure to paint so far :D

Oi! That was going to be my colour scheme!
Good work,

And now for something completely different.

Recon pic of the tanks. A quick basic drybrush that hopefully gives a better idea of the shape of the models.

On a related note the prototype Enforcer Disintegrator/EKM/Midget-zapper just arrived this morning. Looking good I might add :;):
