  Uhm well...

Interesting though: I found this pic on the net. This model seem to have it too. Seems kind of weird that GW would release a model with this kind of error on it...If it is an error that is. But it just looks really goofy if it is intentional.

Tinkering with some Otterware. Here's a WIP of some lovely cheese. I still need to add some decals and weathering. Gotta say these models have been a real pleasure to paint so far :D

In time I'd like to add some infantry inside the vehicle, but it seems I have run mout of longcoat infantry for some reason.

Thanks. Pretty basic paint job really.

Undercoat of Chaos black,. Then a heavy drybrush of black/graveyard earth. Drybrush graveyard earth. Clea the brush. Drybrush Command Khaki. Paint metal parts mithril silver ad give a wash of thinned down Chaos black/Snakebite leather. Then pick out a few details.

Wow! Excellent job on your cheeze.

What is really appealing to me is what great models they are and that you can detail them up without a tremendous amount of effort and they look marvelous.

On the downside, they do seem to be rather susceptible to attention by Broadsides, I have recently discovered.

Here's the finished Gorgonzola. When adding decals I find it usefull to add a slight drybrush of the base color afterwards to tone down the appearance of the decal. It helps to blend it in with the overall color of the model so it doesn't look compltely freshly painted.

Also I'm painting up a Silver Tower for Gold. Pretty much done, but I am looking for some place to add a spot of red or orange glowy stuff to add a bit of contrast to the model.

How did you do the "41" and the ace of spades? Transfers or just skills?

Standard 40k IG transfers. But as mentioned I dive them a slight drybrush of paint afterwards to make them blend in with the model better.
Also, to avoid visible decal edges I first apply a bit of thinned down PVA glue to the area where I want to add the transfer. Then I add the transfer and give another thin layer of PVA. Technically you're supposed to use varnish for this technique, but I find that PVA works just as well and is easier to remove afterwards in case something goes wrong.
