It deserves to be centerpiece mosc. :D

Some updates here too. Wings are now cutted to shape and pinned and some cleaning has been made, but all final greenstuffing, whetting etc comes when it is glued together.

I used the Old Crow drop ship found here. ?The resin stood up well to the heavy load I put on it and the drilling. ?The wing assembly is pinned to the model and is actually supported by only 1/8" of resin on the edge of the fuselage. ?

Plasticard was used for the winglets and the fuselage designs. ?Dark Eldar 40k models were heavily abused to build the remainder of the model.

I am looking forward to finally priming and painting her - it will be an undertaking to say the least.

That's what I though but wasn't certain under all the slicey bitz.  Excellent work!

Okay hotwire, here is some comparisons with SG models. That executor is coming to be quite massive.  :D

You sharp eyed aircraft maniacs there. I know you know these parts I used as engine exhausts. (Can I call them so?)
They were ruthlessy stolen from 1:72 plane...
Heh, looted space craft. :p

Nice !  And those O/C Dropships are a great base or could work fine on their own for other races !

L4, the thought crossed my mind to use the other dropship model as the basis for some Imperial Guard stuff, but that project is just a twinkle in my mad mind's eye. :D

Comparison pics with the model primed up.  When I first started priming it had that wet glossy black look and I just about squealed with delight.  I was tempted to keep it all black but I know that it would get old quick.

I'm not sure how big Charad's is but from the looks of things we got both of ours pretty darn close.

Where the Wyches will run from....  You can see the gate size is pretty much on, but will be adding some extras to it down the road to make it look more gate-ish.

As I said for Charad's, man, that thing is HUGE! It would be kind of cool to keep it all black, but I can see why you won't.
