I like both the wolf and eagle-beetle designs.

The Wolf head design would fit in better with the smaller titans- make it look like an upgunned Warhound.

The Easgle head looks more like the classic Mk1 Beatleback. I can see that design being popular with old timers,

So I am tempted by both for differing reaons.

Cheers

James

The Wolf head design works a lot better than the classic head... Seems to fit in with the overall shape a lot better. Hmm, really liking what I'm seeing here. Will we be seeing a plasma destructor in the final weapons fit?  ???

There will indeed be a Destructor and a Quake. And if possible a couple of others, but that again comes down to cost.

Glad everyone likes the heads, I think these are the two that will be printed.

Here's the beetleback eagle head scaled down a little:

Neat! How did you do the raised Albanian eagle on the middle helmet? Network the individual parts, then extrude?

Those lenses are looking great... I'm definately liking the feel. Fits in with the current Mars stuff too :)

In rhino, I drew the shapes, extruded into a solid, bent around the surface and booleaned together.
So networking the individual pieces and extruding is an accurate guess. There is also a tool that can shorten the process, but I forgot.   ???

Any chance you've got a close-up pic of that head handy?
