Hi Rasta, regarding the basing of my infantry, yes i did do the bases in the same way as for the vehicles but made depressions in the wet filler for the base of the miniature. The figures themselves i painted on lolly sticks and then glued them on after. Textured paint from Coat d'arms was used to blend them in and then the base was finished as for the vehicles.

Hey AB, short answer is no. You have caught me out here as i haven't really begun making terrain to fit the finish of the bases yet. I do have some ideas but the main problem will be that the layout will be mostly brown so i am undecided on if i really want an all brown battlefield. The planet of Vraks for which these models have been painted has no vegetation and consists mostly of mud and volcanic ash, so not much scope for interesting terrain. When i get going on the land i will post some pics.

Cheers guys

It is quite dark....

Maybe a while as i usually do terrain projects in the winter when the daylight is not so good for painting figures.

Men and tanks get painted in the summer as i hate painting by artificial light and terrain in the winter when good lighting is not so important.

Just having a casual glance through this thread, and everything on show looks great.
It's looks simple, just incredibly effective!

Cheers
Reedar

Edit I don't mean simple in a bad way - as in good use of a limited palette :)

I just love tank batallions. Nice weathering and dirt. I also like the fact that you dare to keep rocks rock-coloured.
