Lovely work mate, I'm sorry to hear about the castellum disaster such a pain and I had considered using AP metallic spray on some myself guess I will have to reconsider.

Keep up the good work.

Your a machine Kyussinchains'.

Fist's look fantastic, Strong Yellow and lots of details in the contrasts. Hard colour to work with and you've pulled it off well.
Particularly love your raiders.

Keep up the top effort.

Thanks so much everyone! Seems having a baby isnt quite such a time sink as expected ;D I've been trying to make the most of the quiet time in the evening when my son is in bed and my wife is feeding the baby, I know it won't last but I'm determined to mine it for all its worth!!

Lovely lot - already saw them on facebook. One question: Are the models made from pewter or resin?

Cheers,

They are all metal, most likely pewter, no resin in my force :)

I popped this pic of the whole army to date up on FB last week, for those who haven't seen it, here's 7000 points of painted imperial fists :)

Image

Still to add in this round:

1 landing craft
4 pred annihilators
4 pred destructors
5 land speeder tornados
8 Tarantulas
2 las razorbacks
3 hunters

I've definitely hit the wall in terms of painting.... will try and do one last push to get that lot knocked out in the next couple of weeks then it's on to Emperor's children ready for the EEC at the end of may :)

Beautiful work man. Push through that wall! You've got some great units there and it'll be an incredible force once its all completed.

almost, it's 1.5mm steel brazing rod, it's a tad too thick for my tastes, I may well swap it for 1mm at some point...

I've been uhming and ahing about either getting a thin 2mm perspex rod, or painting black the 1.5mm copper pinning wire I've used for my land speeders so far.
