 Not so much difficult as time-consuming. I have got the basics from the first Iron Angel, so this time I really "went to te town" with the actual conversion. Third of these might come around Christmas...

Presenting the first mock up of my prototype Defiler

The claws need a lot more work and I need to build a heavy flamer of some sort of the second arm mount. The main gun will also have some green stuff detailing sculpted on. It's not great but I think it should be possible to see that it is supposed to be a Defiler. :D

Cheers! :)

I think the defiler looks wonderful. Look forward to seeing the final mini.

Hi,

Nice looking Defilier. I've got some 40k Techmarine backpack servo-arm claws ready for my attempt, but I doubt it'll look as good as yours and other versions that we've seen before. :(

Anyway, I've spent the last few days working on my Necromunda Delaque gang. I have the first group done, but I'll have to wait for my next GW order to complete the group.

Delaque Gang
(two juves on the left, three gangers in the centre and a converted heavy w/flamer and a leader on the right)

10 points for anyone who can guess where the inspiration for their colour scheme came from. (think old-skool video games...)

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Great work WMN, I love the way you've used the rhino for the main body!

Whee - Delaques - my favourite Necromunda brand :D  Probably bec. they're the one I look most like, although I don't usually tote shotguns or trenchcoats. My not-as-occasional-as-I'd-like-it-to-be migraine-induced photophobia also makes me shun light on those occasions, a-la-Delaque. Or vampire Betts... doh, that was painful :p

Warmaster, that beastie os, if anythig, better than the 40K one. Is that the one I contributed the dimensions ?too  :p
As for me - 4 days of the afore-mentioned mig have whipped me out of shape to the extent I had to stay at home today. Sun is rising between stormclouds right now, and seeing it through the blinds has just reset another bout of photophobia. But I should be able to survive long enough to post the Stompa pics on the ToeG thread.
cheers, and apologies for the groans. :( :p
