I usualy forget about half dozen rulesets whenever I make a list and I haven't counted different editions of the same game.

I also know full well I'll never play 'em all but that does not stop me from buying Land Ironclads or the Wessex WWII horror game whenever they are released. Or Command Decision IV or Cold War Commander or...  :blush:

The 40K Vindy conversion is in W/D 118 ... :D             But M/J, you don't have the most important Rules ! The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition by Quark  !  :alien:  :laugh:

I'm working on:
-GI army (10000 points)
-Crimson Fists Chapter (roughly 12000 points)
-Adeptus Titanicus (14000 points)
-Forst-Tyranids (13000 points)
-Orks (13000 points)
-Chaos (32.000 points, divided among the four powers, with a bigger part for Khorne).

Here is my method:
-First, I make an excel list of everything, the cost in points, and i Plan some basic 5000 points army.
-Then i try to paint one of this army as soon as i'm in holidays.
-After the first battle, i correct or ad things to the core army

In one year, i've managed to paint 13000 points of chaos, 12000 points of Imperium (adeptus/gi/marines mixed), 5000 points of Orks, and i'm actually working on some orks, and i've planned the core tyrannid army for the next month.

I think that patience is the key.
Try to keep as close as your planning.
Of course when you get a precious model, you can make an exception (like something rare in ebay).
The big problem is when you begin other games (like 40k or other non gw games...), that's messing a bit your planning :p

Great stuff !  I've got 10+ Epic Armies too. :) All Races and Powers too !  I only do 6mm (G/W, F/W, DRM, E/W + a splash of a few other !) and still have lots to do !
