Nice job on those Trygons And Dominatrix Markconz! :cool:

I painted up my Harridan last night and I gotta say I'm not happy with the result. My brown/green scheme works ok i the infantry but larger stuff just looks muddled so I'm going to have to change tactics there. Yours look readdy nice though :;):

Well since ... G/W -S/G went "Beverly Hills", everything went up ! And F/W is a good deal vs. S/G ... now !

Looking forward to seeing your bugs WMN! I've got 20 rippers cleaned up but i need to base them somehow... cutting out the bases so they match the rest of my army will take longer than painting them

Slight diversion today... some more marines assembled ready for spraying. 2 devs including Librarians (I shortened the staffs so that they the same height as the missile launchers and the join is stronger, just make them a bit tougher). Some more Termis including a captain and two chaplains (just weapons from appropriate models added). Lastly some scouts. Oh and trygons flocked.

ive NEARLY got the entire DA chapter in EPIC scale...i need 1 more blister of termies and 6 more land raiders before i have the whole deathwing..for the record

Deathwing is 20squads of 10Termies, 1 LR each squad and a total 10 dreadnoughts...

to finish the entire chapter i need to get a couple more assault troops and scouts...i need to do the whole 10th Co. (scouts co)

Another diversion

50 blast markers done using the steel wool technique. It is possible to sculpt artful mushroom clouds and explosions with bits flying everywhere, but I wanted lots done really fast! Technique used:

1. Tufts of steel wool glued to counters, and then sprayed flat black.
2. Edge of base painted in earthy colours (don't do this if you want to use them for BFG as well!).
3. Bottom of explosion painted white, then white painted yellow (white helps bring out the yellow but it's not really necessary).
4. Red drybrushed over yellow with more red concentrated towards the top (note many people get this the wrong way around - flames are red on top and yellow and white below - so to paint flames you reverse highlight).
