Ahh, yes ... I remember that W/M piece, perfect for the N/Bgr !! ?As I said before, W/M has a lot of possibilities for Epic ! ? Good idea ! ? For extra credit, what W/M piece would make a good Deceiver ?! ?:D

I will post my Deceiver soon.   He was on the verge of done (I mean just needed painting) when a loose droplet of glue went the wrong way, slid over his head and encased it in seconds.  I was infuriated!

Tried peeling it off but it took the face and details with it, so I am back to square one.  Hopefully I'll have a new one built by tomorrow (should be easier now that I know what I am doing).

Now if someone could convince F/W to do a Necron Army like they did the Tau and Kroot !  Not any more IG or SM, stuff !

Thanks for the compliments, folks.

Ragnarok, both the skeletal banner holders and the sarcophagi are from the old Warmaster Command pack.  I bought two packs, ergo I had two of everything.

I still have the pieces it takes to make the Nightbringer if anyone is interested in a trade.  Forgeworld screwed up my order and sent my Kroot instead of Kroot Hounds and Kroot Ox.  PM me for trades.  Anything else PM too and maybe we can work something out.

I finished the Deceiver this morning.  I will post the pictures tomorrow.  It didn't come out as good as the first model, but you can certainly tell what it is.

I actually did see your pics.  They in a sense 'justified' me using them.  At first I wasn't going to use them, thinking it was just too much Warmaster stuff, but I saw yours and figured, "What the heck!"

I was actually surprised that many people had no idea what game they came from, so for the newer gamers it appears to be a goldmine of mini's.

I agree that all sort of useful stuff can come from warmaster.  I got the wings for my flyrant and avian warriors from WM chaos dragon and harpies respectively.

I just don't browse it that often and only when I'm looking for needed parts.

Glad I could be of some "inspiration" ! :D  In those pics of "Luxor", there was also a small Necron monolith, made from BFG bitz.  Plus some other BFG Necron stuff.                 I'll also be posting pics of some of my BZ 459 terrain soon, too ...  Imagine a jungle Deathworld gone wild !  :;):    But no Necrons, IIRC !

C'tan the Deceiver arrives.  He didn't come out nearly as good as the first model.  The arms are a tad shorter than I wanted and the wrappings wouldn't position right.
Ugh.

Making the Deceiver:

Also from the Warmaster Undead Command pack is a  guy with a scimitar and a funny hat.  I clipped his hat and his sword, then bent his back arm into a bent position with the 'fist' pointing up.

The right arm I used an undead horse's leg for this model when I lost the first arm (which was another undead guys arm).  I ran out of arms - how many times can you say that in your life?

Then I purposefully used clipped horse legs for his legs.  They were longer and thinner and matched better.  The act of clipping at an angle near the knee gave him 'feet'.

The horns are shavings from plasticard.  Those were a pain in the rear!  Getting one on was tough, but getting the others on took two hours.  The problem I had with the first model is that if you use any more than the TINIEST bit of glue, it runs all over the model and gloops it up (in this case the face was ruined).

The drapings were simply twist ties that were cut down to match scale as close as possible.

The Aeonic Orb and Flayed Ones are the last to be done.  Then I can rest. :)
