Thanks -Yes indeed they are infantry figures Firestorm!

They key is drybrushing and the suggestion of detail. ?I do a black undercoat, thinned to get into all the tiny cracks, then 2 medium drybrushes for jackets and trousers, and then some spotting for faces and hat colours., ?The Brits then got a quick white stripe through the middle to suggest the white claypipe webbing belts.

Its the basing that takes time - longer than painting, even with 4 troop blocks per base! ?:)

OK then - my turn to post new pics!

The first of the Prussians - 2 Infantry Companies and 2 small steam cavalry contraptions (Contraptions are Irregular 6mm WW1 Renaults modified "Vanvlak style" - ie turret cut off and going backwards)



Here are the first of the Russian "Shipka" Class Iron Cossacks - big bulky and slightly different to one another. ?Another 6mm Irregular WW1 conversion from British Tanks




Here is the British HQ with the addition of a Flag pole, which make all the difference obviously!

And here is my new Favourite - the HMLS LEVIATHAN.
Its another German A7V conversion, but this one had lots more detail on it (which was weird because its from Irregular, like my other ones)

So I gave it the extra attention I felt it deserved. ?And the use of cotton bud stalks for funnels (thanks V) means it can now have smoke as well! ?The extra turret on the front deck came out nicely too, and the flag is from Brigade Models
