I agree, Jim, I thjink they're pretty awesome. Just enough detail, and none of it too small to paint. I have a bunch of Trolls Chimera's to paint up too, but they were intended for another IG army (Steel Legion).

Yeah I have an amalgam force and tried to use different chimera models for each part of the army to give the subtle hint they're using different forgeworld patterns. I'm curious to see how you get along with them, espyin comparison to 3rd edition chimeras. I might need to get 7 of them myself

Took a few days longer than I thought it would, but I've now finished the demolishers.

Think I might finish the last 3 basilisks before moving on to some Griffons, which should keep things varied and the interest levels up.

Finally got around to finishing some Vanquishers. Started these ages ago but life in general got in the way. Plus, I've been painting some 40K Tau which has been a bit of a distraction. Onto some Basilisks next.

Only have a few things left to paint for my IG then I can make a start on my Epic Tau. Should only take me another 3-4 years to finish, possibly more (check out the pic of what I've horded over the years. Too much really).

Thanks, Andrew. I'm kinda looking foward to getting stuck into the Tau but want to finish a set of IG Basilisks first. That way the IG will be nearly finished (which is only the second army I will have ever completed - poor form really), and then I'll jump between the two, finishing one detachment at a time.
