Well, to flock or not to flock, that´s the question.
Especially with the Danes...

LOL !!!!!!! ;D :D :spin

Dave

I work under the assumption that you're just allergic to flock, L4.

CaptPiett doesn't have that luxury, he's just a chump for not flocking.

Naah ! We're just old school. Flocking didn't come about until SM2. Besides, we felt SM2 was the worst of all the machinations that GW attempted with Epic. We think generally flock is messy, can detract from the models, etc. ... NO flock was good enough for SM1 ... It's good enough for my crew ! 8)

Jeez, it's not like the bases are just painted black... They're dry brushed and washed. So suck it, Dave ;D

Ok, the photo-spam is almost over, since I'm running out of stuff.
Next, U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

M110 for the heavy lifting:

M109 (not GHQ. The model has camo netting):

M113 and M-something or other with the 81 or 107mm mortar:

US stuff is going to have a green/brown/black camo scheme like the Germans, just slight different shades as appropriate. These vehicles (especially the arty) were common to most NATO allies, so I did not camo them.

The REFORGER box (American stuff yet to be painted):

Two more Western European armies, the French and the Dutch:

I'm currently working on 6mm terrain (building from Timecast). Any suggestions on which army I should paint next?

Yeah, I've been wondering when he's actually going to start cranking out tanks for this project.

Very, very nice.
If I didn't already have bucket loads of WW2 GHQ, I'd be collecting these babies. Anybody else watching Deutschland 83?

Thanks, man. I've never heard of Deutschland 83. What is it?

Anyway, there were some stray "cats and dogs" I hadn't posted yet, so here they are:

M48 for the W. Germans:

Soviet SP artillery of the 122 and 152mm varieties:

BTR-50, MT-LB, and OT-64:

BTR-60/70/80:

D-30 awesomeness:

T-62:

I'll get around to a tank or two at some point...

Cold war espionage TV series, currently on Channel 4 (GB)
see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutschland_83
also here; http://www.channel4.com/programmes/deutschland-83
Bit nostalgia/cartoony in places but not bad. Apparently they wrote the series and recent unclassified docs revealed it was essentially true after it was shown!
