Looks amazing, shame about the doors braking, do you need the doors to open/close? Model open/close separately. Look forward to seeing some paint on it.

Great start! Good to see something that takes advantage of the technology as well. I'm sure you'll get it sorted with a few tweaks...

did you print that all as one piece or fit the doors afterward?

No not really, but it's cute .)
The printer is a new toy and I want to see what's possible and while I ride on the wave of mew-toy-enthusiasm I try to check out and learn as much as possible.

As I wrote in my last post, each door and all the rest are one part each.

If the model would be larger scale, it would be possible to make them as one part. But right now the pin ha a radiometer of 1 mm. And the gap between pin and bracket is about .2 mm all around. I'm afraid when I bridge that with some supports and move the door to brake them loose the pin will not withstand the strain. Provided that the gap will print ok anyway.

Sorry if you mentioned this already, but what model printer are you using?

I've used the Makerbot 2 for some projects, but would love to look into the one you have here.

A B9Creator. The website is http://b9creator.com.

It's a different technology. Drawback small workspace, advantage good detail and smoothness of surface.

Good for everything Epic and 28mm miniatures. Bad for 40k tanks.

Also it's more messy. This thing runs on paper-towels as much as on resin :)

I painted two models.
The detail holds up well enough, but for ease of painting, I will make grooves a bit deeper.
But painting is a pain, because there are so many places where you can't reach well.

So I split the big part in 7 smaller ones. I did a test fitting, but haven't painted it yet.

The fuzzy detail in the front parts is not a misprint, but depth of field :)

I am really impressed with the finish and overal quality. Looking forward to infantry tests and more organic models.
