Good looking minis. Gettin there! 40K fluff Old School - We have some cool minis that don't have 40K stamped on them. How to shoehorn them in? Lets have few pints and the silliest suggestion wins! just the way I like it ;D

Thanks :)

Been lacking of freetime lately. Our little one has been 'demanding'. I'll try to paint one of the houses soon

An update for a while

I bought some levenminiature medieval buildings, and finally got one almost done. Still need to do the windows and a base for it. Also the pictures are taken under a bad light so better ones will follow when I have finished the building.

Image

I made it to look a bit worn and aged. It took quite long to paint ... It paints easy but I went too fancy :) bad habit. You propably can't see all the color differences in the roof, chimney etc. In the pics.

I have quite a many waiting primed and ready...

Ah and I have to say that these casts are awesome in detail and in quality, so thanks to Levenminiatures for making these :)

My latest Crimson Fist mini almost ready. I started to build an army and now have 6 devastator stands almost ready. I cant show other pics since they are oop proxys.

Photo is too dark and in real life the 6 layers show nicely. Some weathering to do and battle damage.

The Crimson Fist looks great!
If you keep up this standard for the whole army it will look ace for sure! :)

Also really like the building!
Especially the roof came out very realistic looking.

It's been quiet here but I blame my year old son for that! Although I've been painting crimson fists and trying to figure out a decent scheme for my Nids ( thx blind for the tips). Also I have been designing some terrain bits and the latest one is a guard tower / stronghold.

It's very much WIP and misses the tower part. I will do several lIke this ( chaos versions too). I like it so far.

I will add some details to it and then start with the upper part. Then I will do a separate base for it.

Thoughts?

I made some crates / powergenerators and printed them. Hard to photo but I like them

Also I made some city fight barricade wall sections which can be used to build as long wall as needed, with curves etc. I like how the eagles turned out on the corners.
