I thought of this a little while ago, but considered they would be a "special detcahcment" that would be available only in special circumstances (ie known demon in the enemy force. A full amy list wouldnt be appropriate, these guys would dorp in to help a standard army, or the IG/SM forces would be subordinated to them to help their mission.
That was my take on it anyway (and same for Deathwatch). And no I never got around to doing up stats for that detchment either.

Well, based on previous rules, IIRC SM2 (?), Gray Knights could only be used if fighting Chaos or G/S Cults/'Nids ? So these kind of spec ops troops, would be used like that, I would imagine. Based on my knowlegde of Spec Ops ...

Hey guys, there's the Netepic Sisters (by T5H, I think?), which includes Inqs; and there's the soon-to-be-released Epic Crucible of Champions - Inquisition - and all the stuff you mentioned is in there - oh no, I've given too much away! Now CS will delete me

Wow, I love the idea of Inquisition warbands in Epic, since they are just perfect for a crazy level of detail... Now I'm thinking maybe I should get back to work on my Deathwatch Marine, as soon as the holidays start and I'm (reasonably) free again to do as I please with my time...
Cheers,
Drasannar

If they ever came out with Sisters, then I would want to do a full set. Sisters, =I=, and Knights. The full Demon Hunters and Witch Hunters Armies.

As I said, I have always thought they were the specialist troops within a massed IG or SM force, and thus would only be a small number of stands within that force - a couple of formations at most really.
I'd still get them too though!
Mind you, I have yet to get some of those lovely Grey Knight figs from FW. Why didnt they do Rhinos to go with them?

Then I'd do the Xenos Hunters The puritan faction would have a lot of potential because of the Deathwatch, and a radical would probably be even more fun because you could create a wide range of allied or enslaved Xenos hench"men", not to mention the possibility of them using rare alien weapons... Also I love Inquisition storm troops, and for some reason they seem to fit best with alien hunters IMHO.
An Inquisitors retinue as part of an airmobile IG batallion would also be a great concept (Though possibly a little underdiversified on the tabletop, but then I don't actually play the game anyway, it would be just for the looks )
Cheers,

We have an =][= stand in our TO&Es based on old CJ rules IIRC or SM2 ? ... one stand, Supreme Cdr w/smite, etc. ... a great place to put some of those guys in robes from the IG C-Pack ! ?If Doug can post those IG TO&Es I sent him you'll see ... ?But I think we have to remember this is Epic ... ?And I like the way Chaos, Eldar, etc. were handled by SM1,SM2, E40K etc. ?Those are reflected in the Eldar and Chaos TO&Es I sent to Doug also. ?I really don't think all these detailed army list for each Chaos SM Legion, Eldar Craftworld, etc., are needed ... ?But our system works for us, and "Do what works for you" ! ?Again ... ?

Welcome back Drasannar - so we're getting the chance to see some of your incredible work again, I see - drool |
Not *quite* back yet, still two weeks to go containing six exams in total ... the first two tomorrow, and the two last, and most important, ones next week .
I definitely want to do some scuplting again, after a *very* busy semester at uni. And I have quite some stuff lying around from my last "active phase" which I ought to complete, before starting anything new again (though I've been thinking about multipart, new style termies for some time now...*sigh*).
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting back to sculpting and of course I will be posting pics here (If time permits perhaps even a diary kind of thing again, who knows... . And of course I have to do *something* for this year's painting competition, after missing it last year .
But enough sidetracking this poor thread with my life's story , just one more question: How do you get the original poster's name and post date to show up when you quote ? I know I found out how to do it back when I did the sculpting diary etc, but I seem to have forgotten now, and what's worse: I tried to check for it in my old posts, but somehow it's all changed, it's just normal, undated and unnnamed quotes now even though I'm pretty sure that I included that information back then...I'm rather perplexed now
Cheers,
Drasannar

Quote (Adrian @ 15 2005 July,22:37) | All this talk has got me thinking, is there an army list for the Inquisition/Deamon Hunters?
The idea of using the FW models plus storm troopers in Valkyries is suddenly very appealing!!! | Yes, there is one being put together. you can download it here.
Discussion of this list is taking place here. Please let us know your feedback!
