The brown wash you've been using on the last couple of posts to weather your vehicles has helped them considerably. It's made them far more interesting to look at than just plain gray. I think you could improve on it by more selectively using it on areas so parts that would be moving like pistons or gears are brighter and cleaner metal.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Uric - The paint job is the same basics as the rest of the units (i'm quite limited by half my paints having dried up in 12 years.) Asphalt Montana spray (similar to Codex grey - actually think the slight resulting texture helps with this scheme) drybrush though Codex/Fortress Grey to Skull White, followed by a liberal application of watered down Flesh Wash - simple as that. Obviously the titan got a "bit" of extra attention compared to the other units - in my experience its always the titans people grab of the table mid-game a closer look at :-) - but essentially i was just a bit more incremental in my application of the layers.

CaptPiett / Vaaish - Thanks, for the advice - think that some variation in the weathering may be enough to add a bit of extra interest to the back. I'm off to polish some gears ! :-)

Hi, been away for a bit, but i've not been completely idle.

Have been staring at these Brigade Marmots for weeks now thinking they're great, but too small for the guard (and too much hassle to convert them all.) There were also a few old-school robots kicking about in my bitz-box with no real plans so a whole new endeavour was begun : Adeptus Mechanicus.

Not sure where i'll take this one, but happy with the result so far...

Great start to the AdMechs, and good tail markings on the T-bolts. That tank is a fun model, and Adeptus Mechanicus is indeed an ideal army for them.
