Very nice Gargant

I agree with the others, excellent!

Thanks for the comments on the Gargant, Orks are a forgiving army to experiement with mod and painting wise.

I attempted to quickly paint up some Demiurgisquats so a friend would have an army to match his personality when he comes over to my place and we have a battle.

I usually try to start out by painting up the infantry first and then 'reward' my self with the armor, to keep the motivation going. I the case of the squats the infantry was much more interesting to paint then the vehicles. For me it got kinda slow at the end and I still have some stuff to paint, but thats ok. With all my Epic stuff I try to just get a basic army painted up that can always be added to.

One thing I really enjoyed about the squats is they were sculpted in an era when GW was trying to allow the units to be easily id'ed with color coding.

Here is some of the head honchos, since we use gaming as an excuse to drink and smoke I used the excellent exodus wars Khazari leader who is enjoying a stogie as he leads his troops (maybe smoking does contribute to short stature)

Whether the new school haters like it or not, squat, space dwarf, demiuge types have to hang out on bikes, grow beards, and wear leather jackets.

Even though I preferred painting the units to the vehicles I do like the skimmer tanks the squats have, remind me of the Cal-Tex of Hammers Slammers.

Not a fan of squats, but very nice indeed. I like the detail on the battle armor the red eyes look menacing.

VERY NICE !!! I just started to work on my Squat Infantry forces today also !!! And I too am going to mix E/W Khazari with them !!

Very very cool! I love the use of browns.
