It just keeps going and going and going and going and....
(Sorry! Had to say it with the Energizer wheel in the front.)

Cannot unsee!

Jokes aside, your work is astounding, I'm really impressed/inspired!

My suggestion for the name is the Rokkarolla (not very original, I know, but I think it fits...)

UPDATE!
Image

It's been a while since I last posted - damn you Civilization V!!

Anyways, I'm still looking for a suitable deathrolla for the front, so instead I finished up the back, and the "drive wheel" mechanism that pushes this monster around.

The smaller wheel is from the same old kit as the larger wheels. But making one from scratch wouldn't be hard if you really wanted to make one. I used some legs from the killa kan set as a pair of arms to hold the drive wheel in place. I added some warhammer shields to the wheel on each side, and drilled a hole straight through it for a copper rod axle to hold it all together.

I glued this to an engine housing made from plastic card, and decked it out with plates and rivets. I liked the little engine room model, so I mounted it on top, and added a little railing around it for some extra character. (This entire piece is still removable - like the main wheels - for easier painting later)

The two ramp doors were left off, and instead covered with random plates and bits for detail such as an imperial guard flamer fuel tank bit and the engine to a Tau burst cannon (on the side not shown).

I also started hammering out the main gun arm. It's based on a killa kan arm, on which I mounted the original weapon, a killa kan gun and rokkit, as well as a random gatling gun I found. I'll try to add more to it - the idea is to make this arm a mess of guns and ammo magazines.

More to come soon!

I love the wheels, much better than the silly feet.

Update!

Image

I've got the arms done. Basically, the crusher arm is simply a Killa kan arm and claw, detailed out a bit with some rivets and random gubbins. The gun arm had a few more random 40k shootas added to each side, as well as a kannon on top made from an epic scale cannon and some random killa kan bit. The entire arm was then detailed with plates and rivets.

The arms are still separate for painting, but you can see how they may look once they are stuck on for good. They look a little bigger in the pic than they are in real life - must have something to do with the lens/angle/etc.

Anyways - I have 3 more things to tackle before its finished - the front deathrolla, detailing of the wheels, and lastly, the base. Almost there!

Thanks fellas - Being able to bits order killa kan parts has helped with parts costs - but not by much.

That would make it a Tera Gargant then, with an hypothetical Giga Gargant as a missing link somewhere.

So, I decided to write up some experimental rules for Giga-Gargants for use in NetEpic. If you're interested, help me add too or flesh these ideas out!

Giga-Gargants, while not much bigger than Mega Gargants, represent the pinnacle of Mekboy technological achievement, and boast incredible, if not entirely impractical amounts of weaponry as well as strange and impressive upgrades to the standard Mega Gargant template.

- Giga-Gargants are purchased exactly the same way as Mega Gargants, and cost 1400 pts.
- Like Mega Gargants, Giga-Gargants must be assigned a clan, and act as a clan card in and of itself.
- You must purchase the appropriate clan specific upgrade as listed below for your Giga-Gargant.
- In addition to the clan specific upgrade, you must also purchase a minimum of 5 additional upgrades from the upgrades list below.
- The cost of all the upgrades chosen are added to the base cost of the Giga-Gargant, and it's victory points are adjusted accordingly.

Clan Specific Upgrades (you must purchase one of these upgrades for your Giga-Gargant)

- Bad Moons (100): Bad Moon Mega Gargants have been seen on multiple occations with more than one weirdboy tower mounted upon their backs. The Giga-Gargant is equipped with an additional Weirdboy Tower mega-weapon. (Note - each tower counts as its own mega-weapon system when rolling to see how many mega-weapons you can fire in a turn)

- Blood Axes (varies): Blood Axe dealings with the dregs of human society (especially chaos renegades) can sometimes yield serious imperial weaponry and equipment, sometimes even the random titan part or weapon. The Giga-Gargant is armed with a single imperial titan weapon which it can fire as an additional mega-weapon. (This weapon can be any ranged, non-head weapon that can be fitted to imperial reaver titans – the cost for this upgrade is equal to its normal imperial cost. Note - this additional weapon counts as its own mega-weapon system when rolling to see how many mega-weapons you can fire in a turn)

- Deathskulls (varies): As everyone knows, the Deathskulls don't ever waste anything, and random bits blown off of Gargants in battle (even those belonging to other clans) are often found mounted onto their Giga-Gargants. The Giga-Gargant is equipped with an extra gargant weapon as an additional mega-weapon. This can be one of the following weapons: Deth Cannon, Gatling Cannon, Magnum Mega Cannon, Slasha Attack Gun. You may also choose the Magna Kannon and Flak Kannon if your opponent agrees. (The cost for this upgrade is equal to the chosen weapon cost. Note - this additional weapon counts as its own mega-weapon system when rolling to see how many mega-weapons you can fire in a turn)

- Evil Sunz (100): The Evil Sunz find the slow speed at which most Gargants trudge along as unbearable, and often take the extreme step of raising them off the ground and replacing their legs or tracks with massive sets of wheels. This increases its maximum move by +10cm. In addition, it cannot be boarded by units that aren’t skimmers or equipped with jump packs.

- Goffs (100): The Giga-Gargant is covered with enourmous speakers which broadcast the very best in hardcore Goffik Rokk. Some Giga-Gargants even have a live band on board. Any Ork mob with a model within 12cm of the Giga-Gargant is immune to morale effects, gains +1 to their CAF, and suffers a -1 penalty to their to hit rolls when shooting. In addition, the Giga-Gargant can fire the "Mega Woofer Sound Blaster" once per game as described under the Goffik Rokker Tour Wagon entry in the Ork rulebook.

- Snakebites (50): Snakebite Giga-Gargants are powered by steam. It does not have shields (and cannot buy shield upgrades) but due to the massive amounts of smoke and steam billowing around it, all shots that target the Giga-Gargant suffer a -1 to hit penalty. In addition, at the end of the movement phase, it releases a cloud of pent-up steam, scalding any Infantry or Calvary units around it. On full speed orders, no steam is released. On battle speed or backward orders, the steam cloud extends 6cm around the base of the Giga-Gargant. On Stop, the steam cloud extends 12cm. Any Infantry or Calvary model within the cloud takes a hit on a 3+ with 0 TSM.

Gun Deck and Turret Upgrades

- Souped up Gun Decks (50): As long as there are any attack dice left for the gun decks, they gain a +2 attack dice bonus.

- Extra Turrets (25): The Turrets receive a +2 attack dice bonus.

- Tonz of Gunz (75): The gargant has a dizzying assortment of small arms jutting from every nook and cranny across the surface of it's hull. The Giga-Gargant receives "point defense 12"

Mega Weapon Upgrades

- Extra Krooz Missull (75): The Gargant gains an additional one-shot Krooz Missull

- High Explosive Rounds (50): You may choose to fire high explosive rounds from the Big Lobba. High explosive rounds use the 12cm template, and adds +1 to the save of any model hit.

- Bigga Weirdboy Tower (50): Add a +2 attack dice bonus to the attack dice generated by the weirdboy tower. (Note - this upgrade can be purchased twice by Bad Moon Giga-Gargants if you wish - one for each tower)

- Extra Gunners (25): Add +1 to the result when rolling to see how many mega weapons can be fired for the turn. (Note - this can result in a score of "4" if you have an additional mega weapon)

Mekboy Weapon Upgrades

- Supa Deth Ray (100): The Deth Ray has it's TSM increased to -3.

- Deluxe Kustom Cannon (75): The Giga-Gargant is equipped with a Deluxe Kustom Kannon as described under the Mekboy Gargant rules. (Note - this counts as a Mekboy weapon when choosing which one to fire)

- Extra Mekboyz (50/75): All of the Mekboy weapons can fire each turn rather than 1. (If you have also chosen the "Deluxe Kustom Kannon upgrade, the cost is increased from 50 pts. to 75)

Shield Upgrades

- Deflecta Field (50): The Giga-Gargant does not have power fields, but instead houses an advanced Force field generator which behaves exactly as the one used by Mekboy Dragstas, and effects any shot hitting the Gargant. If any damage is done to the shield generators, the Deflecta Field shuts down for the rest of the game. (May not be combined with any other shield upgrade)

- Stable Field Generators (75): The Giga-Gargant's power fields do not "flicker"

- Supa Field Generators (75): The Giga-Gargant starts with an automatic 12 power fields

Belly Gun Upgrades (Note - attacks damaging the bottom/center "weapon" box on the front damage chart hit Belly Gun Upgrades. You may only have a single Belly Gun)

- Cluster Buster (75): The Giga-Gargant is equipped with a Cluster Buster.

- Gut Buster (100): The Giga-Gargant is equipped with a Gut Buster.

- Snapper (25): The Giga-Gargant is equipped with a Snapper.

Weapon arm Upgrades

- Supa Krusher Arm (75): Adds +2 to the dice score when fighting titans instead of +1. In addition hits against buildings are at -6 save modifier rather than -4.

- Extra ammo (25): Adds +1 to the number of shots fired by the Skullcrusha.

- Loadz of Extra Gunz (100): The Skullcrusha is augmented with an obscene collection of extra guns and rockets. This upgrade can be used once during the game, and doubles the number of shots fired by the Skullcrusha for one turn. You must decide before the dice is rolled whether you will use this upgrade or not. If a misfire is rolled when this upgrade is used, damage is rolled for the weapon in addition to not firing.

Misc. Upgrades

- Deathrolla (75): The Gargant gains the Deathrolla Ability

- Loud Speakers (50): The Gargant may draw an additional Shouting Counter at the beginning of the game.

- Skar Boy Veterans (75): The Gargant's CAF score is increased to +20
