I'll second that. The spiders are great.

Tigibus, that is a FANTASTIC Orb.  I don't read French, so could you maybe explain what parts you used?  Is it all plasticard or pieces from other game systems or what?  Maybe I should update the pictures in Raiders to include your model... :) If you gave permission, of course.

If you are going to update Raiders with new model/conversion pictures Mosc (I think it could be a cool idea to) you might like to give it a bit longer. My uh ‘reading of the tea-leaves’ suggests a lot more people will soon be collecting, painting and playing with Necron armies. With the Epic-comp deadline in a month I may well paint up something really nice Necronwise myself if there'd be a possibility to have a model in Raiders as well as Siege.

One possibility (if you wanted to) was to do a few extra pages in the proper Raiders conversion section formatting that people could slot into their existing books. People could either print these out themselves or they could be posted out with the (I believe planned) errata page.

This clearly deserves inclusion too (possibly ask for a finished shot as the base doesn't look done there), assuming you're with 'O' models in there, but I assume they're ok as there're some in Siege (I realise the new 'E. skels' couldn't appear).

You can use my photographs. I would be very happy to contribute to RAIDERS.
If you want, I can try to take better pictures and to send you them.

I will try to summarize how I carried out my ORB :
The structure was cut out in thick paperboard.
I split the structure to be able to fold it and give him the desired form.
Plastic stems (banners SM/TL) were stuck in the cuts to rigidify and give a better aspect.
The crystals were cut in plastic bunches.
Round bases were used to establish the link between the structure and the engine (the large crystal heap).
Fine paperboard was added on the structure to have a less smooth aspect.
The ball comes from a bottle of deodorant.

The base is also out of thick paperboard. I used sand which I stuck and scraped to make the cracks. Ruins (EPIC 40,000) were added to equip the base.

The ray which holds the sphere on its basis is a plastic tube.

The sphere is not stuck on the base because I envisage to make a orbe destroyed which will take the place instead of the initial orb.

I hope to have been understandable. :sulk:

I understood you just fine, thanks.   :agree:

And I appreciate the pictures.  If you can send some quality shots of your Work-in-progress and your final Orb to moscovian@hotmail.com I'd be much obliged.

Hello everybody,

I have found my C'Tan. It is a SKARLOCK for the game WARMACHINE. I don't know this game but the miniature is really great, perfect for a proxy :

I have just added the weapon without modify the original miniature.
