Would it be possible to make a decent Desecrator out of the defiler parts.

Well a Desecrator is listed as having:

- Reaper Autocannon
- Havoc Launcher
- Ultrasonic Disruptor


Of the above, Otterman's Petite Crabes have Havoc Launcher and Reaper Autocannon proxies, so all you'd need is some sort of 'sonic' weapon to replace the Battlecannon.

Sonic weaponry is often depicted as some kind of sattelite dish looking thing (for example Ordinatus Mars), so I should think it would be a very easy conversion.

I'll have to get another Petite Crabe and have a go at making one.

should it have more legs than the defiler or would a simple weapon conversion do the trick.

I would go with a simple weapon swap, it's meant to be a variant defiler rather than a fully different vehicle.

Akin to how a Predator Destructor is different to a Predator Annihilator (Ie: Only the weapons).

Excellent,that should mean even I could convert a defiler into a desecrator.
Maybe with the use of magnets I could have load outs for both types.

Hey, I've heard about atoms. Are they easy to work with?

Very easy. You just got to be careful that you dont use too sharp of knife. Dont want to accidentally split any!
