This might be dull for those who have already seen them so that's why I hadn't posted but then I thought ah, what the hell.

Nurgle only, no Titans, yet.

All my Slaanesh... but I may add a Warlord or something too later.

SoB/PDF Army.

Imperial Guard... mostly. No Titans again, they're all hiding with my Knights and Ordinatus.

Tyranids. All of them, I think...

Necrons. No increased activity, yet. I have the parts I just don't have the time.

I suppose I should pull out my paltry 2 armies, but feel I'll fall short to warheads granduer.

Jim/Warhead sometimes worries me;  there must be at least enough bugs there to provide several people with reasonable armies; so: c'mon mate; divvy up the kitty! ;-)
I do like yr SoB though :-)

Lots of impressive hordes (or should that be hoards?) here. Mine are really quite modest in comparison. Anyway, I was getting my stuff out to take a pic earlier, and I discovered that some of my Chaos models need some repairs before they're fit to photograph. So it'll have to wait.

Oh com'on fella's, I've done some nice trades for fair prices here for some starting collectors. (I've bought twice as much as I've traded since being here but lets not look too closely at that  ). I could have made a mint on eBay with the two Ordinatus Armageddon's I got rid of recently... Well, who needs three anyway?   :sulk:   Now, now jealousy is an ugly emotion guys. You'll just have to do better. Besides it becomes my turn to be jealous when I see what you all can do with your own collections. I still have a ways to go when it comes to painting and basing.

Boy, what a bunch of sore heads... it's a good job I didn't show 'em my Orks or Marines or Titan Legions or Tzeentch or Khorne or Chaos Undivided or Cultists or Squats or Eldar including Eldar Knights... and you'll just have to wait for me to make some Dark Eldar.

I would post pics of my hordes, but a) I don't own a digicam and b) I wouldn't want to blind you with the ton of unpainted minis I have.

Welcome to the forum Ulric! Crikey that's huge numbers! Have you ever played with anything close to that in one go, Epic-Apocalypse style?

This thread makes me feel less crazy for spending such silly amounts on epic (don't think my bank balance is happy with me at the moment). I' like to have 3-7k of all the main armies in EpicA armies, but that'll be plenty enough for me.

I'll posting my own hordes in maybe a month or so.

Hey thanks
sorry for not "vorstellen"(german word for the english word i don`t know) :))

I played 2 times battles with about 35k pts per side(imperial army vs eldar)
it was a bloodbath
casualties were army size each turn

I`ve some pics from the last gigantic battle
but only from the deplyoment
each time playing a batlle I forget taking some pictures

only netepic or TL/Space Marine

I`ve a dream playing Stalingrad with Imperial army as soviets and eldar/squats as germans
60k on each side

Eldar and squats attacking last soviet line(imperial guard) while getting assaulted by space marine and titan legions reinforcemetns
fight to death or surrender
but I need:
-time, a lot of I think so
-space, even more
-a foe able to withstand stress and he will get stress

hmmm...yes; I agree with Glyn; despite sarting the threat i DO beleive that about 8k of each army will probably do me! My marines stand at about that, same for the guard and orks.  Eldar sit at 6ish and that's all i need, nids and chaos are the same.
I find that that amount of troops fives you about the right amount to field multiple types of army without going overboard.
I see little point in myself having thousands of points of unpainted figures!

:O The armies and sheer volume of minis in this thread is amazing. And heres me with under 5k total painted, none of which i think would combine for a  viable army :sigh: I must make progress over this summer!..and infact actually play epic for the first time!
