well, you can see links to my blog and there you can see more photos and maybe they help to undestand what I did.
Those are really simple steps and I use just a few tools and techniques

The head looks good, but the empty space between the jaw and chitin is a bit much. Will there be an eye there?

Pulsating organ needs to be put in that slot next to the jaw. Kinda like the one on the Cloverfield.

Yeah, I know :{[]
I should have done a bigger chitin on that part, cause I won'y put eyes on it. I wanted to do something similar to the Exocrin, that it is the Gun that is really in control of the structure (the "gunner" is just a body guard for the gun if something gets too close) and not putting it any eyes.

those pink things are pulsating sacks. something like a bag/sack with perhaps a row of breather tube openings could work great and keep it from looking like a skeleton versus a living breathing thing
