snowballs have points? I thought they were round, or are your sneaky penguins mixing some ice in there?

Nice touch on the non-consecutive unmarked fish too. Good job they didn't ask for squid or they might have some traceable ink bladders :D

Penguins! I've missed too much recently :)
Grand show.
Snowballs can be pointy.
Where I come from we never get snow, and the first time I saw the stuff it was up on Ben Nevis, in Scotland (I love Scotland); the wife meanwhile had her first opportunity to throw a snowball. Trouble is it was mainly slush rather than snow, and it froze up and socked me in the jaw. Oww! I'd swear that one did have a point.....

Thanks guys. The the snowballs probably had icicles in them or something.

Slush balls are the worst, just listen to Bill Cosby's escapade about Junior Barnes and the snowball.

Hi Dave- have belatedly been looking through your pictures of Space marines- stunning work. Have you managed to add the last 1.5k?

What is the overall TO&E?

Cheers

James

So effectively 2 reinforced Battle Companies plus air/Titan support. That's a nice size force.

Do you use an army builder software?

Thanks

James

That's exactly what I was going for, yes. I had a third company slated but I downsized. The remnants of that will probably go towards a Raven Guard army or something.

LOL- I t6hink you replied as I was editing my post.

For my Space marine force I had decided when EA first released to do a Blood Angels force. Have almost finished painting one battle company of infantry with a second battle company started. However looking at Codex Armageddon i can see that Blood Angels only sent one battle company to Armageddon so will probably keep my SM force small.

Cheers

James

With a battle company at 100 marines, you need one each of Tac, Dev and Assault to make a battle company at Epic scale...you've way more than 2 companies there by my reckoning!

My breakdown went like this:

Two Tac, one Dev and one Assault for a vanilla company

Assaults can be mounted on Bikes or Land Speeders so I did 10 Marines on Bikes (5 units), 10 on Attack Bikes (5 units) and 20 in Land Speeders (5 regulars, 3 Tornados, 2 Typhoon) so I could mix and match as much as I wanted

The armor I figured was on loan from the chapter's armory, and 2 full squads of Terminators and 4 squads of Scouts were seconded to the group.

Dave

I was thinking along similar lines re mix of troops and tanks etc on loan from armoury. I like your mix of bikes/attack bikes/land speeders.

Cheers

James
