it is going backwards...
Ogres in Action | This is quite the wrong place to ask this, i guess, but I'll risk asking: "What are the ogres shown in the website i.e. what gaming system do they belong to? And why do so many armies use the same beastie?"

What is the model in the top picture? That would make a cool Ordinatus proxy!
Cheers

I actually found it looking for stuff on Operation Sealion (the Second World War version).
They have done some nice photographs and some are quite clever.

I have no idea!
I found it years ago and liked it and when you mentioned the backward running Ogre, I remembered it (did a Google search to find it) and posted the link as I thought others may like it.
So Tas, is this yours?

Jimbo,
I'm about 95% sure that that site is one of Tas'es.
I played OGRE before Epic existed and remember his site from some years back. In 2002, he spent a lot of time updating it.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Yes, I've seen this site before, it's pretty cool! ?
With all the history references, it may well be TAS's work!

Whilst the force was technically finished as you all well know, the Desert Ferrin will continue to get the odd reinforcements as time passes.
Last night I finally finished off my Shadowsword company - something I decided I very much needed after just 1 game!

A pic of the full company can be found on my Mercenary Brush site.
I've got a Leviathan and Thunderbolt Squadron in the works which should both be finished soon too.
I've also updated the galleries with more IG pics than you can shake a rogue Kroot at, ?as well as a lot of other stuff as usual
Must get back to painting that Eldar army for Fanatic..... ?

Quote (Legion 4 @ 08 2003 Dec.,13:17) | With all the history references, it may well be TAS's work! | Yes that is my site. I worjked pretty hard on it for about 3 years, then all my software crashed and died big time and I was faced with having to rebuild it from scratch. At the same (ish) time I moved back to Australia from UK so I kinda had other priorities...
Then I got back into Epic in a serious way with the announcement of EA, and have put my OGRE projects on a medium term holding pattern.
The URL to the site is on the icon below my Sig block.
Thanks for all the nice comments! I'd be VERY interested in doing something simialr for Epic one day...

Thanks Netepic, I'll keep that in mind.
I was thinking ont his again over the last day, and it would really have to be a focused webpage.
By that I mean, I would want a specific theme and not just another "This is my Army and these were my Battles" site. Not that there is anything wrong with them and I really enjoy those that are out there, I just need a focus to build it around, like my OGRE site.
I have a half baked Campaign Theme that could fit the bill if developed further. The problem is the graphics support that was done by a mate of mine who has gone another way and found other intrests since.
I'll think on it further...
