"May" is an interesting word, because Todd just emailed me news of a machine malfunction. Unless there's some really timely repair work on Monday, it may be mid-January before we see the bronze.

The silver lining is that nothing was wrong with the 3D model.

Sorry RedSarge, but those aren't casts - they're the outputs of a 3D printer.

Edit - looks like the conical rivet design survived the print process. We'll see how they do investment casting.

Edit 2 - a cone cut at an angle perpindecular to its base is a frustum. The rivets here are frusta.
