Little stuck for a colourscheme for my mobile chapels & cathedral.

Here's bone up to white

Does it need more embellishments maybe, I could perhaps sculpt some scroll work...

C&C anyone?

good start :) but it seemt o just be missing a certain something, first thing that came to me was that large silver area on the back just scream for some manic robed figure playing a huge organ or a choir of pshyics, maybe just more big pipes ! some scroll work certainly would give a more of a feel to it aswell.

Perhaps a crazy person with a sword, exhorting the driver to drive closer to the enemy?

I'd look into where you might add red and/or black accents. Otherwise it looks excellent.

Hows your converted cathedral progressing ? Any updated shots?

That's it so far. Been looking at how to paint aged copper for the dome and making tiny purity seals for the chapels.

Still far from finished but I'm quite impressed with the effect I've gotten.

Is anyone else?

Nice verdigris! And I say that as a friend. It really adds to the look of the model. Now that I see a better lighted picture, I'm not so sure accents would help.

Thanks Spectrar! It's been really hard to get decent photos with sunlight here lately with the usual winter weather, glad these came out alright.

Do you think adding some verdigris to the panels(or perhaps the flooring) of the chapels perhaps would work as well?

Looking back some of these photos would be better off removed...

CS: The floor might be neat, but the realist in me says two things: 1) It'd need another drybrush of copper, as the verdigris would wear off on the diamonds, and 2) Isn't copper way too soft to make floors from?

In all, if you're not afraid to change it back, I'd go for it.

Thanks guys!

You're right it would be too soft but this is 40k lots of stuff doesn't make much sense in real life. For arguments sake it might be copper plated for decoration. I just want it to look cool :)

Fantastic sir! My only quib is my eye keeps getting drawn to the top of the dome. I don't see a bronze statue of a sister riding atop it. Or an aquilia, or an inquisitor I. it needs something to finish it up i think. But with that said, stunning work.
