How did you sculpt the rocket powered Stormboyz? Is that cotton?

Nein. No.

It is wire + static grass. Then sprayed black and painted.

Nice use of a power cord plug on the Squiggoth there. He looks great.

I use all kinds of junk for the models. Especially for 28mm 40K orks

I want to basecoat the squiggoth this weekend, so I have to add more armorplates, chains, side armour, tailspikes etc.

And crew.

Thanks for all the comments.

A little progress on the squiggoth

Side armour, tail armour, junk armour plates, spikes...

The metal jaw is not as good as I wanted it. Perhaps I will tear it off.

Up next:
- necron objective markers from plaster
- upgraded ork objective marker

Cut the teeth off and have bolted on teeth, I think that will make it look very good.

Looks much better. Thanks for the tip.

Another quick thing:

Necron objective made from plaster (with the help of oyamaru)

Do not worry, I am not copying the models by the dozen, but I really did not want to sacrifice a metal model for this.

I will use my own necron design for the vehicles

Actually thats a good way to do a destroyed vehicle, it does do not look so good and the lack of quality can be put down to the damage received.

I am still sick at home, but painting is not an option as I am coughing like hell.

I did this. Will have to see if cards are more handy than a A4 reference sheet.

Not final yet.
