Well, the first 4 pours were not up to snuff. I managed so salvage a few, but too many bubbles in the others. Going to reposition the masters and make a new mold. Hope this one works better...

Second mold worked better than the first, but still having issues with the side fins. Going to have to reposition them on the masters. nuts... 3rd time is a charm I guess.

I wish I had a vacuum chamber or a spin caster.....

So here is the unit, all based up. I still need to do a little GS'ing where the bubbles were bad, but this is pretty much it. Think I will only do 1 unit, with maybe a Chaplain as an optional hero. Now to get it primed and painted.

pic was darkened to show detail on the white resin

No plans right now, but since the molds are just sitting there, if the mood strikes me, I can easily make more any time I want. >:D

Here are the last of my Landspeeder units (courtesy of a trade). I love the MkI's. My Ravenwing is getting big.

I got some Razorback turrets from GlynG in a trade. I really wanted to paint one up before my Marine exile.

Now I just need to finish my Jetbikes and get a hold of a Thnderbrick and smaller edition Thunderbird so I can proxy them as Thunderbolts and Marauders.

At that point, the DA's will be done

Great, more scouts with a 20cm ignores terrain move ::)

I guess those titan were really afraid of being molested by teleporting termies ;D

They look great SB, a worthy addition to your force.

I'm finding it hard to see much detail in your latest pics there because of the bright white background. Especially with darker models having a black or gray background seems to be the most effective backdrop I've found for shooting minis at this scale.

Yeah Vaaish, that has been ticking me off for awhile. The bulb I used to use burned out a while back, and I keep forgetting to replace it

Great ravenwing. Great job on the Speeders' bases and fantastic jet bikes. Looking forward to your IG exile.

Over the past few weeks I have been quite busy: lost my job, found a new one, school, family, sickness. Needless to say I have been putting my painting on hold. I did manage to finish up my Flakturm though.

Added the carapace laser point defense systems and some decals. Added a little more weathering and now all that is left is a quick hit of dullcote (unless anyone has any further suggestions).

(Got a new light too...finally. Working on a light box now)
