Having tried them on the Ork trukks, I think they may be a little too imperial like for the Orks. |
Just stick some rivets on them (or just paint them on) and I think that would make a nice alternative turret for a flakwagon.

Jimbo I think those rocket lanchers look really good! A rusty wash (brown ink) over the usual metal would help with the ork look, maybe in addition to neals suggestion.

I had some green stuff left over from another modelling project, so I decided to have a go at modeling a covered trukk (ie one with a tarpaulin cover).
Not sure about the end result, but I think it will look better when painted. If I had the skills I would add ropes and stuff (I don't so I don't think I will even bother).

Hmm, I don't know if it would be too fiddly but adding a couple of supports bent from brass wire micht enhance the look significantly.

I think you're right.
However two problems why I couldn't do that
a) no brass wire b) no glue to stick it (my superglue had dried out on me).

Try adding some "stretch marks" to the corners like I did with my Feral Ork airship balloon. Using a knife or similar you can press a few lines into the GS near the corners. I think it should add a bit more sense of weight to the piece.

Hi!
Side question. Who makes the best, "green stuff"?

I think there is only one manufacturer of green stuff: Polymerics
