I've create for the orks, marines and IG a set of, usually, plastic scraps.
Generally I use them for represent casualties and destroyed vehicles during the battle, and for this reason, I'll paint them for the eldar as alaitoc, for give the right design at their casualties. I'll create, using what I still have not Painted or damaged plastic models for create a set: falcons, wraithlord, jetbike, probably on piece of guardians. We find more usefull about the objectives marker use the objective token of SP. For example, this 3 falcons scraps now are positioned exactly where, in the current scenario we're plaing in Beyond the green river campaign, the falcons was destroyed. The relation will be not 1 to 1, but creating a set of scrap, leaving them, and moving them, during the battle where the casualties is done, it's really cool. If you use plastic models, and you have a reserve not Painted, with less models you can give more flavour at the global layout.
I've think about scraps the first time seeing a my friend that play COMITATUS, a 15mm scale game of ancient battle, where they buy, togheter with the army, a set of casualties to leave in the battles. The effect was great!

I love the color scheme on your Cadians. Very, very effective. I'd love to read how you accomplished that green.

What's the source for tose faux Vultures and Valkyries? I know I've seen them for sale in another miniature range before, but I can't remember which one. I was actually searching for them a few weeks back to use a Squat Gyrocopters.
