Hi!
I think Maksim is correct, there were two, the fuselage is different. I actually picked it up via the archive a few months ago and compared them, I dont think it was widely released. I only learned of its existant viewing through the whole archive.

Of course, Ork Bommas still don't exist in E-A, do they? | why let something like lack of models, rules or fluff get in the way of a good idea!

Congrats TS- impressive progress in the 2 weeks I was away. I envy your ability to juggle work/pub/family/GF and painting and still achieve your timetable!

Hey Tas ! ?Welcome back Sailor ! And I'm going to have to research this SM2 aircaft ... ?I thought there was only one bomber released. ?But that would not surprise me, the Squat Land Train had 2 different engines, too ... ?

Day 35, Monday 24th November - day of "Ooops..."
Well lads, there's been a slight hic-up. I was going well & looked like I may even complete the army last weekend. I watched the Rugby & the world was good. I did a couple of hours painting & started to get bored. I called my girlfriend at uni, & she was bored too So I went for a drive...... 200miles to Exeter..... (as you do...) I got back 10 mins ago........
Total painting done: 0 ?
So it looks like it will be a rush to the finish after all.
And Primarch: The Heavy stands are not the only things that need painting unfortunately. The Commissars in front of them are just undercoated black & based. The 2nd marauder needs a lot of work & the first still needs its underside highlighted. The 2nd Lightning still needs its underside highlighted. The last battery of manticores need highlights on the rockets. The Destroyers, Manticores, Bombards, Demolishers, basilisk, trojans Super heavies, transporters & sentinels ALL need markings added. But that counts as details which could be added later on if needed.
So a little to do in the next week... (!)
P.S. Welcome back Tas P.P.S. Thanks all for the kind comments.

Day 33, Saturday 22nd November - Day of rewind...
Appologies for this, I thought I'd posted before I dashed down to Exeter, but having checked I didnt post this one.
The only thing to get worked on since Friday evening was a few details on one of the Marauders on Saturday, so sorry for the rewind, but here's the pic from Sat

Very cool- are you planning on adding any markings too it- snarling faces, numbers, slogans etc?

No at this point. The underside needs to be highlgihted, but thats all I plan for the near future.
Such details as classic bomber logos etc. go beyond my definition of "speed painting" ? .
Whilst I will probably get too tempted & got back to add details to a lot of the army at some point, it wont be until a good few months after completion!
Rememebr I also aim to get an SM and Ork army painted for February, as well as Eldar for Fanatic!

Its looks like it may be a photo finish then, since December 1st is around the corner, but I think you'll manage!

Drool, those Marauders are just getting better and better! I really want some now...or I could save my cash and get about 6 for the same price when they are released for Epic:A
Photo finish? I have full belief that Tuff can get it finished in time, he does 1 day turnarounds on Fanatic commisions, his own speed Guard _should_ be quicker!
Cheers
Chris
