Quote (Tas @ 16 2004 Jan.,22:33) | Pictures are NOT Optional! ? | Sir. Yes SIR!
Monday 19th January 2004 Aside from the 4 Land Speeders, Land Speeder Librarian, Tactical Commander and Assault Captain, the force is now assembled and undercoated. (Did I mention that I undercoat by brush and that is why it has taken so long?)

All that I can say is, there seemed to be a LOT more when I was undercoating them! You really dont get much for 2000 points of Marines, do you!

And, in a bit more detail:

Predators at the back (two of each) and a Tactical formation (with the Commander on shore leave) with their Razorback transports (four Las Cannon, two Heavy Bolter). Marines are in Kellog formation (glued onto cereal card) for ease of painting and selecting which ones make up each unit.

The Heavy weapons of three Tactical formations at the back, with a second Tactical set of Marines at the front. In the middle are the three Rhinos and a Hunter.

Last picture. Assault formation at the rear (without the Captains unit) with the third, and partially painted (ohhh, colour!) Tactical formation with Rhino transports.
Right then... Next stage is the black everywhere!

Quote (Legion 4 @ 20 2004 Jan.,15:38) | Ah yes, the vaunted Kellog formation, favored by the Traitor SM Legion known as the "Cereal Killers" ! ? ? ? ?And I usually brush base coat all my infantry, too. ? | L4, I disagree. Detailed research indicates earliest use by another traitor legion, the Khorne Flakes.
I usually spray undercoat models, as well as supporting boxes or hardboard, the wall, the floor, my fingers, and at least half my mechadendrites.

Primarch | Hey! Do you know what font Khorne uses when he writes to his subjects? Bloodletter! And, of course, he uses it to write blood letters.

Wednesday 21st January 2004 I am not at home today, so painting will be a bit difficult. However, in an attempt to support the game and make sure that I have all that I need I did finally get around to pre-ordering a few bits for the next 1000 points (I am always optimistic!). So, I got some Preds and Whirlwinds/Hunters. Unfortunately, I also saw the Ork Battlewagonz, which are fantastic, and got some of them too. My Ork Blood Axe force is one step closer!
