Guys cheers for the nice comments, Did not think anybody would see the pictures as it just shows up with the words image on my computer! Thought it wasa problem with photobucket but it must be my computer as i cant see pics on Cpt S s blog either just the words image.......but can see pics on other blogs! any ideas!

I use photobucket too, might be your browser if others are seeing things fine.

Try clearing your cache entirely in all browsers. I've found that sometimes things in IE carry over to Firefox - they shouldn't, but they do. You might have had an issue with your image host one day, and your browser hasn't updated that bad info yet.

Hi Guys,

After getting some time to get some more lizard men done, I thought it was about time to get the man god done for these little fellows and after all these are my favorite chapter,

So like the other ones i had a quick search on the internet to see what are the main features of this chap that would make the minature represent the mr spocks race more. I found qiuie a few pictures of a really nice 28mm minature that kept popping up on all the image searches, main bits where big hammer! large lizard head on the shoulder pad, claw on one arm and lizard skin cloak and clawed armoured feet.

So with some greenstuff and a little patients i set about adding some features, I have really enjyed making this chap and consider this one to be my best effort yet on the man gods and when painted ( fingers crossed ) should look really nice with the army.

Anyway here are some pictures not the best as my other camera has packed up and but it give san idea of what the little fellow will look like also hope the pictures turn out as i still cant see my photobucket pictures







This is my fourth man god ones a heretic the other three are now loyalist so i need to balance out the armys so next man god i have decided to do conrad as he has some nice features.

Managed to get some paint on the primarch of the lizard men as the sculpt shows in the above post, Have found it pretty hard to photograph this little chap but hopefully it gives you an idea of what he look like. Painted the lizard skull on his shoulder a pale green also the cloak and loin cloth, the rest is the usual green with some gold added.

Looks great! Are you subscribing to the new GW weirdness that is giving all Salamanders black(i.e. chaos black) flesh and red eyes?

Hi CS, I do understand where they are coming from with regards the skin tone due to there home worlds climate, not to sure about the eyes they would look to demon like to me If i was doing 28mm i would do the skin but in 6mm it would just be a black dot and would look weird

If you mix GS with milliput (I use the regular one), you'll get a softer material that sets harder with sharper edges.

Been a bit light on updates recently, But have had chance to try a new conversion that has ended up with the result that im pretty pleased with,

As most will know i have been doing conversions to create 6mm man gods, I also have great affection for the emp of mankind and adfer finishing his conversion i was just going to put some sm on his stand as support, But will all the fluff attached it would of been a bit of a let down,

So after looking what to use and wanting to keep away from greenstuff to aid speed i looked how i could most easyly replicate the large robot romans in gold to protect the god of the world.....

After searching for bits i found the bits, orky storm rifle cut it out, orky with axe and shield and large old pig rider where scalped for there long hair then add some old flag pole stand bits and glue. Quick spray job, some gold slapped on, red or non ordered red, black wash and hey presto some chaps to guard the boss man
