I primed it gray and basecoated with Vallejo Iraqui Sand. Next was a Kel's Magix Sauce brown wash, with touch ups of Iraqui Sand again.
Next coat was a mixture of Iraqui Sand and Vallejo Pale Sand, with a final highlight of pure Pale Sand.
The hatches were just grey with lighter gray highlighting.
Stupid camera, it must be replaced.

Thanks. Next iteration will have a more 'flush' loading hatch, straight barrel (potentially shorter to satisfy Hena), finer details, flatter brass hatches. Better pictures, too.
This was an interesting case of psych-out. We kept staring at each other, and a 2 hour job eventually took me 6 months to do.
