Now you are making me blush. I chose the tyranid paintingscheme because it's quick and easy and I barely clear the "three colours" line.
Base coat of red (all miniatures not painted by the previous owner were base coated red already).
Thin wash of black.
Paint scales in black.
Highlight edges in codex grey (the jagged edge is produced by using a thin brush (00) and laying it flat onthe back and dragging backwards).
On the larger beasts I will use more colours in the grey highlight, but basically thats it. To be able to paint up the army in a forseable future I had to choose a simple scheme.
