Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully they can inspire someone else to have a go - they did take some time and a bit of trial and error (mostly error, ha), but were not difficult.
I've painted them up on the weekend, just need to take a couple pics and I'll post those too.

The light isn't the greatest again, but gives some idea how they turned out... :)

They turned out really nice painted up ! You would not think that they came from the old battle wagon

A bit contrasting colours (yellow, white) would do wonders. What about some flames at the side? Also: try painting small parts like the tires in black.
So far its just red and metal. The plastcard wok is ace though

thanks for the comments/feedback.
Once I have the next bunch of trukks ready I will go back and add some contrasting colour to the first lot at the same time.
They are currently soaking in Power Clean, so in the meantime i thought i'd make the Mekboy Biker.
And a Deth Kopta.
Two plastic warbuggies, one traktor kannon, one shokk attack gun, one mekboy, two loota boyz and some scrap plasticard/greenstuff later...
