if you're in the market for some constructive feedback, may I suggest you experiment a little with thinning your paints down?
How very dare you!!!! ;-)
That's a top tip, thanks. I've been experimenting using glaze to thin paints in the later stages, i'm assuming you mean just watering then down at the start?

aye, watering them down to begin with, GW paints especially need lots of watering down, having almost exclusively switched to formula P3 myself over the last few years, I went back to GW charadon granite and the stuff was like toothpaste.... try adding a few drops of water to a few brushes of paint and experimenting, you don't want it so runny it acts like an ink and flows everywhere, but you want to avoid things like brush strokes drying into the paint, a very rough guide I use for P3 which are quite a bit thinner than GW paints, is ~3 parts paint to 1 part water, you may need a bit more for GW, but it's worth just having a play and seeing what works best for you

you can also pre-thin them in the pots which has the double advantage of reducing the chance of them drying out on you as GW paints are wont to do...
