One thing my IG Guard is missing is assault troops. I've been keeping my eyes on ebay for a while but no joy. It was when I read the thread "Settra's Stonghold" that I realised it might be worth checking out other gaming systems for some kind of substitute.

I came across these on the Exodus Wars page - http://www.exoduswars.com/dp/B006LM352G - and thought they might make a pretty good stand-in for my IG Assault troops. Have to say, the pricing seems quite reasonable, but I wish I could see the minatures from the side & rear to get a good look at those jump/jet packs!

What does everyone else think?

Since the earlier posts I've also added another Leviathan and three Stormhammers. Thanks to Reedar's kind offer I now have 8 assault stands but am looking for at least another 7, possibly 9 (for Assault HQ), does anyone else have any spare assault troops they are looking to offload?

I'll maybe try and add an updated pic of the entire army sometime soon!

Thanks Jimmy but Reedar came to my rescue! Because I was working on painting my Khorne force for a bit I never got around to painting the Assault troops. So many projects, so little time...

My to do list:

3 more campaign battle reports
Reflections about how the campaign went
Update my campaign rules with amendments
Paint IG Assault Company
Paint new Angel Barracks terrain
Write, film & edit tutorial for NetEpic
Write, film & edit NetEpic battle report
Build rocky terrain
Paint my Ork army
And... probably something else I've forgotten!
